A story of adventure and patagonian nature

Since 2002, Cerro Frias has been accompanying those who seek to experience Patagonia with authenticity. Founded by Alejandro Bárcena with horseback riding in Alice Ranch. The park has been growing step by step: first it added 4×4 after habilitating a road to the summit, then it staged trekking, and in 2009 it inaugurated a zip line of 4 sections of 500 meters, one of the longest in South America.

Our history

Cerro Frias was born in the heart of Estancia Alice as a dream of sharing the essence of Patagonia. What started with simple horseback riding has grown to become a place where adventure meets hospitality and respect for nature. Over the years, thousands of travelers have discovered in its trails, forests and viewpoints a unique place to experience the immensity of Patagonia. Beyond each excursion, what distinguishes Cerro Frias is the warmth of its people, the tradition of welcoming and the passion for offering authentic experiences that leave a mark.

The spirit of Cerro Frias

What distinguishes us is not only the variety of activities, but the way we share them: with respect for nature, safety in every step and the warmth of a team that loves what they do. After the adventure, the barbecue area becomes the meeting place where homemade flavors and local hospitality round off an authentic Patagonian experience.

El Quincho: The corner where the adventure ends

At the end of each excursion in Cerro Frias -whether horseback riding, trekking, 4×4 or ziplining- our emblematic Quincho de la Estancia Alice.

Equipped with capacity for 130 people, this cozy space is designed to welcome you with comfort and warmth. Its large windows frame unbeatable panoramic views of the Centinela River valley and the mountain range, including the Torres del Paine.

There you can relax and recharge your batteries with lunch, snack or dinner, depending on your departure time, while you share the best moments with your fellow adventurers.
